Glades Pike Taverne
About This Spot
Stepping into Glades Pike Taverne feels like settling into a familiar, well-loved corner of your hometown where stories linger in the air and there’s a comfortable hum of easy conversation. Nestled in Somerset, this bar and grill carries the spirit of a neighborhood gathering spot—warm, unpretentious, and inviting, with a pace that encourages you to relax and take your time.
The atmosphere strikes a balance between casual comfort and subtle energy. Whether you’re drawn to the mellow strumming of live acoustic music or the friendly bustle around the bar, there’s a genuine sense of connection here. The kind that comes from bartenders and servers who remember your name, offer a smile, and make you feel like an old friend dropping by.
Food flows through the evening like a shared conversation—meant to be savored and passed along. Pepperoni and pierogi pizzas sit comfortably alongside house-favorite subs and inventive bar munchies, all crafted with a touch of home-cooked care. Plates of loaded fries, zesty wraps, and hearty soups unfold naturally over ongoing laughter and clinking glasses. And while their selection of local beers and thoughtfully mixed drinks—like the subtly sweet raspberry margarita or the intriguingly named mermaid water—serve as liquid companions to the meal, it’s the easy camaraderie that truly flavors the experience.
Downstairs, a lively game room adds a playful element for those looking to extend their visit, blending well with the tavern’s relaxed spirit. Whether you find yourself riding in on a group of friends or stopping by solo for a quick bite and a familiar face behind the bar, Glades Pike Taverne feels less like a stop on the map and more like a place you’ve been meaning to find all along.

Wing night and acoustic guitar singer. Nice service and a fantastic game room downstairs.

Love the ancient grain bowl!! I ordered with the grilled shrimp and house asian sauce and it’s really good. Also love the onion soup too! Price is reasonable and there’s live music too. Great place to hangout/grab food!

We went there during lunch hours, and the food was served hot, fast, and attentively. Our s rcer was quick to refill cups, and their selection of food is outstanding. Would recommend this place if you're looking for a homey hole in the wall tavern vibe! I will be eating there again very soon.

We sat at the bar to have dinner. Dawn was our bartender/server. She was friendly, helpful and genuine. We felt connected to her like we found a new friend. We shared the pickle beet eggs with spice and sweet and hot sauce. They were delicious and not too spicy. My wife tried the white pizza and loved it. I had the cheese steak sub on the house made bread - excellent!! The service was top notch, and the food was generous and yummy.

Out on motorcycles. Stopped for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Great casual bar in a strip mall. Excellent bartender! Delicious Budweiser/Old Bay shrimp, homemade garlic bread, and meatball sub!

A very nice place to go eat. They have lots of menu options. Great selection of beers and other drinks. A very friendly place with friendly staff. A real traditional tavern in the mountains vibe. They have small local bands on the weekends. We all really enjoyed our meal. Definitely stop by if you get up this way. It's a great place to come, eat and drink.
